Hi, I’m Melissa! I’m a lifelong educator and German speaker who’s had the joy of teaching everyone from middle school students to corporate executives. Over the years, I’ve led student trips that offered unforgettable, behind-the-scenes access to the culture and language they were studying—experiences that sparked my own passion for travel even more.
In 2019, I founded Travel Bug Adventures to share that passion with others. As a professional travel advisor specializing in Europe (and beyond!), I love helping travelers turn big dreams into incredible journeys. I had booked my travel experience with Melissa. This was the first time I’ve been on a cruise in over 20 years so I was a little rusty on the details. Melissa helped me all the way through even helping me with how to book excursions, getting on and off the boats, even going as far as how to get on and off the plane so I don’t miss my buses to the ship. This experience has been an amazing one and It’s something I’ve marked on my bucket list. Going to Alaska and seeing the scenery the whales and all the wildlife there is something that I will cherish for the rest of my life. My son and I will never forget it.
